Frequently Asked Questions

Is Pop's Ultimate safe to use on any surface?

Pop's Ultimate Tool & Workshop cleaner is generally safe on anything that is not damaged by water. Always spot check an inconspicuous surface before spraying over a large area. Avoid dyed and unsealed surfaces.

Does Pop's Ultimate leave a residue?

Nobody wants to use slimy, slippery tools, and we have plenty of experience with other degreasers leaving a film. Pop's Ultimate cleans quickly, lifts all contaminants, and leaves a squeaky clean surface to work with.

What else can I use Pop's Ultimate for?

To offer a tool & workshop cleaner that can clean a decade's worth of hard-gripped grime out of tools, we knew it had to be REALLY good. Fortunately, that also made it excellent for a variety of unexpected applications, like BBQ grill exteriors, tile grout, countertops, carpets, and pre-wash stain treatment of heavily soiled clothing. If you have a special application you'd like to ask about, please reach out to us through our contact form!

Why don't you offer this in a pre-diluted spray bottle?

We offer excellence in an affordable package. The truth is that freight costs aren't going down, and water is heavy and expensive to ship. We chose to offer this cleaner in a strongly concentrated form, so we could pass the savings on to you. The concentrate pouches also take up less space on your shelf, and fit snugly inside your toolbox.

How much should I use when cleaning?

To clean most surfaces, all it takes is 5-7 sprays onto a terry cloth or microfiber towel. A little bit goes a very long way. Even in its 32-oz diluted ratio, Pop's Ultimate Tool & Workshop Cleaner is still very concentrated and extremely potent. Don't let the low odor trick you, it's far more powerful than you might expect.
